OCA Technologies, Inc, Announces Acquisition of HorseBiz, PedigreeBiz Software and Chevalpub.com Web Site

 HOUSTON, TEXAS — March 11, 2003 — Today OCA Technologies, Inc (OCA) announced the assets acquisition of certain assets of Cheval Publishing, Inc. 

The assets purchased include the Equine Management Software Package name HorseBiz and PedigreeBiz, a Pedigree Management Software Package.  Also included in the acquisition was the chevalpub.com web site and customer database.

“We are committed to the continued development of both software packages.  We feel that our customers utilize these programs as an integral part of their business and the continued support of products in this industry is an instrumental part of our business plan.”  said Art O’Connor, Jr., CEO. 

“HorseBiz is experiencing unprecedented deployment success,” said Brenda Andrews, Director of Development. “Our HorseBiz 3.0.0 has been upgraded to operate under all new Microsoft operating systems including Windows XP Pro and XP Home.  We have been reviewing client suggestions for changes and anticipate a total redevelopment effort to be undertaken during the next year.  With the new XP operating systems, we expect more customers to make the move to version 3.0.0.”
